Geofactory offers a gamma-ray spectrometry for geological core logging. This BGO 2”X 2” crystal detector and lead shielding should be used for focused measurement of cores or for stratigraphic measurements. Using internal constants based on IAEA traceable calibration pads, the Portable Gamma Logger can compute precise rock concentration of K (%), U and Th (ppm). Results are displayed immediately after the end of measurements. They will be stored in the instrument and/or sent to appropriate external devices via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It also uses an advanced method of automatic stabilization on natural background radiation throughout its operation. This unique stabilization method eliminates the need for an additional radioactive check source. Specific software for Coring industry is included.
The gamma spectrum analyser is designed to analyse crushed rock (minimum 100 gr). Floor standing and easy to operate, in 5 min this instrument will analyse the Uranium, Thorium and Potassium content of the geological sample.
The Core Studio is the imaging device indispensable to photographing drill cores under White Light and Ultra Violet Light. The Blackbox studio, supported by a core ranking structure that can accommodate up to 35 meters of core. The whole setup is controlled by a specific software that allows, in its full version, the control of the camera/light system, data management and the opportunity to edit a final report. The Core Studio delivers fast high-resolution results and it is perfectly suited for both laboratory and wellsite environments.
The Core Studio 360° is a considerable improvement of the standard Core Studio model. The benefit of this version consists on a brand new system developed by Geofactory and his partners. This new improvement allows to take a continuous photo on the full circumference core sample whether on WH & UV light exposure. The Core Studio 360° is fully automated as the core sample is set on a rotating system especially designed with a surface treatment to minimize & avoid any mechanical stress on the core sample just in case the sample is relatively fractured or fragile. The new intuitive software interface allows the operator to monitor & manage efficiently the acquisition of the data. The operator still keep the full possibility to adapt the core sample angular rotation, as well as the shooting speed. The software produces a separate photo report on multiple supports. The Cuttings Studio is an imaging device to photograph drill cuttings under White Light and Ultra Violet Light (365nm & 254nm) . Fully automatized, it delivers in less than four minutes and high-resolution results (7μm per pixel) of 10 samples intervals.
The Quick Studio 360° is a device designed to describe full drill core sample and determine the presence of hydrocarbons. The viewing cabinet is equipped with a rotative mechanical core support controlled by a joystick that allows the operator to examine the full circumference of the core sample, whether on WH & UV light exposure. Using a separate support, it is also possible to work on a slabbed section or a very fractured core and always with the guarantee of good illumination thanks to the anti-shade system.
