How does the Explo Core Saw differ from other core saws on the market?

The mining drill core saw stands out with its exclusive design tailored for cutting drill cores up to 500mm in length and PQ in diameter, making it versatile for on-site and laboratory use. It features a robust recirculating water system for optimal cooling and cutting precision, and options for either a powerful tri-phase 4HP motor or a one-phase 3HP motor. Its portability, durable construction with painted steel and aluminum profiles, and compatibility with both standard and decanting tanks further distinguish it from other core saws on the market

What is the maximum core size this saw can handle?

The mining drill core saw can handle cores with a maximum length of 500 mm (19.69 inches) and a diameter up to PQ size.

Geofactory provide custom-made diamond blades for unique projects or requirements?

Yes, Geofactory specializes in providing custom-made diamond blades to meet the specific demands of your project. By closely collaborating with our manufacturer and analyzing your geological samples, we can tailor a blade to your exact specifications. This ensures optimal performance, precision, and longevity, even for the most challenging applications.

Can this lapidary rock saw be used for cutting all types of rocks?

Yes, the lapidary rock saw is designed to cut through various types of rocks, including hard materials like granite, which are commonly encountered in mineral exploration. Whether working with sedimentary, igneous, or metamorphic rocks, the diamond blade ensures precise and efficient cutting across these geological formations.

What power source does the Explo Core Saw require?

The mining drill core saw requires different power sources depending on the model. The 3HP model operates on a single-phase power supply of 220-230 VaC at 50 Hz, with 60 Hz available upon request. The 4HP model, on the other hand, uses a three-phase power supply of 380-400 VaC at 50 Hz.

How do I know if a mining drill core saw is the right tool for my project?

To determine if a mining drill core saw is suitable for your project, consider the following: First, assess the size of the core samples you need to cut—these saws are designed for precision cutting of drill cores up to specific lengths and diameters (e.g., PQ size, 500mm length). Second, evaluate the material composition of your cores to ensure compatibility with the saw’s diamond blades. Lastly, factor in your project environment, as these tools are ideal for both on-site and laboratory applications, offering portability and robust performance.
