The Plunge Cutter is essential for precisely controlling the penetration of the plunger into soft and unconsolidated formations. Built with a hydraulic system, Geofactory offers an innovative model that provides the advantage of extracting both horizontal and vertical plug samples. The main frame is adjustable within a 90° range, and the worktable is equipped with a core support adjustable on axes X and Y, capable of holding cores up to 3 feet (1 meter) long and 6 ¾ inches in diameter. Additionally, the auxiliary mobile worktable provides ample surfaces for organizing handling operations, accommodating tools such as a digital balance, heat gun, and necessary consumables for the perfect preparation of the sample.
