Validating the Right Tools for Your Core Sampling Workflow
One of the most valuable services we offer is on-site project validation. Before any equipment is shipped, we invite our clients to test and finetune their machine configuration in real conditions. Whether you are
working with our range of core saws such as the Mining Core Saw, Slabbing Saw 500, or Dual-Axis Saw or evaluating our plugging machines, fluid preservation pipes, or de-waxing tools, these sessions help ensure full compatibility with your operational needs.
Clients may bring their own drill core samples or simulate field-like conditions using samples prepared in
our workshop. This process enables precise adjustments in key parameters: diamond blade selection, cutting depth, feed speed, and lubrication system performance, among others.
All saw testing is conducted on high-density granite with a compressive strength of approximately 210 MPa. This material offers a reliable benchmark to test blade efficiency, machine stability, and cooling performance under high mechanical stress. It also provides a solid reference point when comparing field samples with different lithologies.
Remote Validation Options
For clients unable to travel, Geofactory offers remote validation sessions via video conference. Our facility is equipped with a multi-camera setup that allows clients to follow the cutting process live, observe machine behavior, and provide real-time technical feedback.
