The Slabbing saw 450 is adapted for wellsite and laboratory environment offers the main advantage that the core sample is mechanically moved to the diamond blade and cooled with steerable fluid setup. This safety system provides more sensitivity of the cut which is really essential particularly when biscuit slices are processed. The innovation of this instrument comes also from the regulator system of the height of the blade above the inner tube (Aluminium, Fiberglass). Moving a manually mechanical crank, the operator can adjust with millimetre accuracy the abrasive blade at the inner tube and cut it prior to plugging or photography operation.

The Dual-Axis is a type of saw essential in the field of core preparation in the laboratory. This tool is designed to receive core samples 4” in diameter and 50 cm long and using a rotating support that allows one to cut rock sample from an axis of 0° to 90° (slabbing & trimming). It offers the additional advantage that the core sample is moved to the diamond blade and cooled with a steerable hydraulic setup. We have two models on offer: the 3 HP Model and the 4 HP Model.

The Explo Core Saw is an exclusive design, engineered to slab drill core sections up to 50 cm in length and PQ  in diameter. This versatile tool is portable and ideal for both on-site and laboratory applications. It features a powerful tri-phase 4HP motor as standard, with an option to customize to a one-phase 3HP motor. Additionally, it includes an efficient recirculating water system for optimal operation.

Mining Core Saw

Geofactory developed a model of manual saw specially designed for the mining industry. The “Mining Saw” is made of 100% stainless steel to protect against corrosion and powered with an engine of 12HP. It equipped with a different removable core holder to speed-up the cutting process and allow to work simply with fractured core up to PQ size. Extremely safe, the operator can cut with a forward speed of +/-0.8s per 1 cm that allow a large production of cut and always in security condition (less of 83dB). This saw can be customized for your project.

The Trimming Saw is a tool adapted to trim the plugs after a plugging operation. It has been designed to cut up to 7 plugs in a double pass. The quality of the blade enables an excellent precision of the cut and the trim is recovered in a numbered cell. The tool is equipped with all the protections to guarantee safe handling and a recirculating coolant system for high viscosity fluid as drilling mud.
